Robax Platinum is a duel acting medication that contains ibuprofen and Methocarbamol. Ibuprofen is classified as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for pain and inflammation. Robax Platinum is used to provide pain relief associated with spasms that occur from conditions such as tense neck muscles, back sprains and strains.

Recommended dosage for adults and children over the age of 12 years is 1 to 2 caplets every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed dosage of more than six caplets within a 24-hour period unless advised by your physician. Do not discontinue use of this medication before consulting with your physician. Do not give this drug to anyone else. Doing so could cause harm to certain people. Take this medication as prescribed. If a dose is missed, take as soon as possible. If the next dose is due, skip the missed dose and continue with regular scheduled dosage. Avoid taking two doses at once if one is missed.
Robax Platinum should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to ibuprofen or Methocarbamol, are currently taking another NSAID, have stomach or duodenal ulcers, inflammatory gastrointestinal disease, liver disease, asthma, hives, rhinitis, anaphylaxis, nasal polyps or poor kidney function.
Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, diarrhea, bloating and gas, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting, headache, heartburn, lightheadedness, dark colored urine, nervousness and stomach cramps. If any of these side effects persist or become severe, consult with your physician immediately. More serious side effects that may occur include rash, itchy skin, blurred vision, ringing in ears, fluid retention, liver problems and increased urination. Seek medical attention immediately if these symptoms occur. Discontinue use of this medication and seek emergency medical help at once if allergic reaction occurs such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat or mouth and rash, or signs of aseptic meningitis occur such as nausea, vomiting, stiff neck and fever.
